SMA Members’ Excursion in Oxford – June 11th, 2015
Our next excursion for SMA members provides an opportunity to visit the offices of Oxford Archaeology South in Oxford on June 11th, 2015, to learn about the excavation of the cemetery of St Augustine, Ipswich, where 1,100 burials were excavated in 2012.
This event provides members of the Society for Medieval Archaeology with an opportunity to visit Oxford Archaeology’s Burials Services Department to meet the team, examine some of the remarkable material excavated at the site, and hear about the work. For further details, please follow this link.
